Filmographie: Catching the Subway

This picture was created with a technique sometimes called "filmography". It is created by capturing a movie while slowly panning (or not) across the scene. I then took one vertical part, about one to three pixels wide, from each frame of the movie. Then all the pieces are combined and put together to the image above.
So much for the technical stuff. I think it's a fascinating technique because it enables me to capture time and space in a single picture.
